Thomas Hassey

Thomas Anthony Hassey, 76, of West Jefferson, died 3:17 am, May 7, 2014, at Doctors Hospital West, Columbus, following an extended illness. He was born November 13, 1937 in Columbus, OH to the late Thomas J. and Hazel M. Graves Hassey. Survivors include his brother and sister-in-law, George and Phyllis Hassey, of Chillicothe; cousins, James, John and Linda, and Charles and Maria Hassey, Joyce and Carl Woods, and a niece, Holly Kost. Mr. Hassey retired as a home healthcare professional with the City of Columbus and had worked as a commercial artist. He was a graduate of Bishop Watterson High School and served in the Air National Guard. The Mass of Christian Burial, followed by burial in St. Joseph Cemetery, Columbus, will be announced at a later date.
