Thomas Gragg

Thomas Jefferson Gragg, 95, of Chillicothe, died 3:40 am, Saturday, March 26, 2016 at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center-Chillicothe, following an extended illness. He was born September 16, 1920 in Ross Co. to the late John and Dora Lightle Gragg. On May 25, 1940 he married Beatrice Mae Dennewitz, who died February 21, 2013. Survivors include three children, Larry Gragg, Frankfort, Barbara (Melvin) Wright, Chillicothe, and Tommy (Linda) Gragg, Frankfort; nine grandchildren; numerous great and great-great-grandchildren; and a brother, Gene Gragg, of Chillicothe. He was preceded in death by ten brothers and five sisters. Mr. Gragg was a US Army Veteran of World War II. He retired as a cook from the VA Medical Center-Chillicothe. He was a member of Maple Grove Church. Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Wednesday at the Haller Funeral Home & Crematory, Pastor Brett Smith officiating. Military graveside services, conducted by the Ross Co. Veterans Honor Guard, will follow in Twin Township Cemetery. Friends may call 5-8 pm Tuesday at Haller's.
