Thomas Cahill

Thomas William Cahill, 68, of Chillicothe, passed away on Sunday, August 27, 2023 at the SOMC Hospice facility, following an extended illness.

He was born on March 12, 1955, in Chillicothe, Ohio, son of the late Daniel A. and Miriam E. (Leach) Cahill.

Surviving are his two children, Nathan P. Cahill, and Nicole R. (Tom) Randalls; two grandchildren, Keela and Kasen Cahill; four sisters, Marjean Hoylman, Dolores Frey, Lois Garrison, and Jackie Osborne; and his brother, James Cahill. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his two sisters, Saundra Vandegriff, and Patricia Ratliff.

Tom was a graduate of Chillicothe High School, class of 1973. He went on to work for the Mead Paper Company for many years before retiring in 2004. He was a member of the VFW, the American Legion, AMVETS, and USW Local 731. In his free time, he enjoyed going out playing cards, especially Texas Hold'em, and he loved playing in football pools.

In accordance with his wishes, there will be no public calling hours or services.
