Theresa Firestone

Theresa "Therese" B. Kvasnovsky Firestone, 83, of Chillicothe, passed away unexpectedly at 2:10 pm, Saturday January 14, 2017, at the Vineyards at Concord Assisted Living Facility, Frankfort.   She was born February 18, 1933 in Uniontown, PA, daughter of the late Charles and Veronica Adams Kvasnovsky. On November 5, 1955 she married her beloved husband of 56 years, Robert L. Firestone, who preceded her in death on January 21, 2012. They eventually settled in Chillicothe. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Barbara Anne Firestone; a sister, Agatha Kodric, Uniontown, PA; a sister-in-law, Anna Kvasnovsky; brothers-in-law, Charles Labo, Donald Firestone and Daniel Kodric Sr; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by an infant son, Timothy P. Firestone; brothers, Stephen and Charles Kvasnovsky; sisters, Veronica Baughman, Julia Kodric, Cecelia Kodric, Katie Marfi, Marie Kazimer, and Dorothy O'Neil.   Theresa was a lifelong member of St. Mary Parish. She retired from Lang's Cleaners and was a wonderful wife and homemaker. She shared abundances of faith, love, joy and hope to all who knew her throughout her life. She loved to cook for her family, bake special items for school and church functions, and dearly loved music and poetry.   If love could have saved you, you would have lived forever.   The family wishes to offer a special thank you to all the facility staff "family" of the Vineyards who made her care and stay a true blessing: Cheryl, Cindy, Jessica P., Dianna, Linda, Sheila, Jessica R., Danita, Kelly, Joe, Ruth, Candy, Ashton, Ashley, Bobby, Terry, Joyce, Janet, Barb N., Jeanie, Angela, Dr Juschka, Robbie, Tracy, and Josh. Thank you also goes to neighbors, friends, St. Mary Church family, Sister Mary and Sister Michael of Missionaries of Sacred Heart, for all the prayers and support. May God bless you each and every one in "God's circle of love."   The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 am Thursday at St. Mary Church, Rev. Lawrence Hummer, Celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Margaret Cemetery. Friends may call 5-7 pm Wednesday at the Haller Funeral Home & Crematory, where a wake service will be held at 7:00 pm.
