Theresa Anderson

Theresa A. Anderson, 61, went to be with the Lord at 9:35pm September 15, 2014, at her residence following an extended illness. She was born August 3, 1953, in Chillicothe, the daughter of Roger Bayless and Barbara J. Woodfork. She is survived by her daughter Angela Moye, of Washington D.C.; her son and daughter-in-law Brian (Tina) Anderson, of Washington Court House; grandchildren: Torie Hatton, Asia Anderson, Imani Moye, Leah Anderson and Elias Anderson; a great-granddaughter Jocelyn Hatton; her mother Barbara Herman, of Chillicothe; sister and brother-in-law Lorna (Irving) Kelly, London, OH; brother Tony Willis, Detroit, MI; a nephew James Scott; and niece Jennifer Baffi, both of Columbus; aunts, uncle and many special friends. She was predeceased by her father; and grandparents Opal and Martin Woodfork. Theresa was a graduate of Chillicothe High School, Class of 1972. She was a member of Zion Baptist Church and worked as a corrections officer at RCI for 20 years, before her illness. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am Saturday, September 20, at Zion Baptist Church, with Rev. J. Troy Gray officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.
