Thelma Marie Minor, 94, passed away on Sunday March 24
th
, 2024 at Legacy nursing home. She had fallen on March 6 and broke her femur bone. She went to Legacy for Rehab on march 13
th
and just decided not to fight any longer.
She was born November 22, 1929 to Retta and Willaim Emerson Minor. She is survived by two sisters, Lucie Schumm and Mary Arnold, sister-in-law Rose Minor, all of Circleville, several nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews. Friend of Tracy H and friends in BETA SIGMA PHI where she was a member for 72 years. She enjoyed going to meetings. She also enjoyed playing cards, board games, traveling, and going out to eat. She was a member of Chillicothe Baptist Church.
She also loved watching Ohio State Football and Basketball as well as the Cincinnati Reds and going to ballgames with her niece and nephew.
She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Retta Minor, sisters Mildred Strausbaugh, Evon Schumm, brother Donald Emerson Minor, brothers-in-law Robert Schumm, Mac Schumm, William Arnold, and Eugene Strausbaugh, and nephew-in-law George Krc.
She was cremated and arrangements are being made by the family.
