Terry Love

Terry E. Love, 56, died unexpectedly at 4:08am May 6, 2020, at his residence. He was born April 13, 1964, in Chillicothe to the late Robert E. and Trudy (Marlow) Love. On July 26, 1986, he married the former Teresa G. Terry, who survives. Also surviving are his daughter Danelle Love, of Dayton; son Truman Love and aka "daughter-in-law" Alli Jones, both of Chillicothe; "Mom Love" aka Linda L. Love; his sister Trich Love; and brother Stacy Miller. He was predeceased by his parents; niece, Sabrina Fraley and Father-in-law, Roger A. Fortner. Terry retired as a Captain from Chillicothe Correctional Institution in 2016. He was a prior beloved football Coach at Zane Trace High School. He was also a long-time member of Lester's Gym. A Memorial Service in honor of Terry Love, who died last year, May 6, 2020, will be held Saturday, May 15, 2021, at the Zane Trace Field House. Friends are welcome anytime from 12:00 - 4:00 pm and we will have a brief ceremony at 3:00 pm to close out the event. Public services were delayed due to COVID. We chose the field house because of Terry coaching football and we have kept it simple because that is who he was...a simple man. I hope you all will be able to stop by and say hello to us and say good-bye to Terry. Please come prepared to share a memory you have of Terry: how you knew him, something you shared together, something funny, etc. in his honor. This past year has been tough and COVID made it worse. We now understand funerals more. The human factor gives closure to the family. We need this to help our hearts heal and give others an opportunity to pay their respect if desired. Your prayers would be appreciated during this time. So, feel free to come by and see us, hug us, fist-bump; whatever it may be to share our mutual love and mutual loss of Terry Love.
