Tawnya Sparks

Tawnya S. Sparks Tawnya S. Mash Sparks, 45, of Chillicothe, died 2:04 am Monday, January 2, 2006, in the Adena Regional Medical Center, unexpectedly. She was born January 14, 1960 in Chillicothe to David L. Mash and Marilyn S. Strawser Mash. In addition to her mother, survivors include a son, Joshua W. Sparks, at home; a sister, Cynthia A. Smith; two brothers, Douglas L. Mash and David T. Mash; her loving companion of 16 years, Pat Speakman; a special aunt, Susan Tootle; two nephews, Chris Mash and Bryan Irvin; two nieces, Rachel Copper and Mackinze Mash; a great-nephew, Luke; several close friends including the Susan Baschak family and Cindy Hankinson. She was preceded in death by her father, grandparents, aunts and an uncle. Tawnya served four years in the United States Army and loved gardening and being outdoors. Graveside funeral services will be held 11:00 am Thursday in Brown's Chapel (Deerfield Township) Cemetery. Friends may call 5-8 pm Wednesday in the Haller Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to a trust that will be announced at a later time for the benefit of her son, Joshua.
