Taraleah Carroll

Tara L. Carroll, 48, of Chillicothe, died June 20, 2022, following a brief illness.

She was born May 15, 1974 in Chillicothe to the late Robert "Toot" and Dreama Kanouse Carroll.  Survivors include her son, Jacob Browning; her fiancée, John "Beach" Ellingsworth, of Chillicothe; a half-sister, Violet (Mark) Tanner; a step-brother, Ronnie Bell; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins, including a special cousin, Penny Acton; and several friends, including a special friend, Debra McCabe.  She was preceded in death by her parents, and her step-mother, who raised her, Mary Carroll.

Tara worked as an accountant with the Kroger Company for over 30 years.  Her most precious time was spent with her son.  She also enjoyed playing cards and flower gardening.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Monday at the Haller Funeral Home & Crematory.  Burial will follow in Brown's Chapel Cemetery.  Friends may call 2:00-5:00 pm Sunday at Haller's.
