Tamara Jenell Allen was born November 22, 1963 in Memphis, Tennessee to Leatrice Jeanette Allen. She attended Hyde Park Elementary, Snowden Jr High and Northside High School in Memphis TN. She was very athletic and excelled in track and basketball. She was a champion skater and received many awards.
Tamara accepted Christ into her life at an early age and was baptized into Christianity at Pleasant Green Missionary Baptist Church in Memphis, Tennessee. In her free time, she enjoyed sports, socializing, dancing, music, and helping others.
She worked as a cook for most of her life. Tamara Jenell Allen was granted her wings on May 31, 2020.
Surviving are her mother Leatrice Jeanette Allen, her children, Anthony Dwayne Siggers, Philip Linzy, and Michael Allen; her two grandchildren, Caylix Allen, and Kaden Allen; one brother, Valdine (Sandra Kaye) Allen; one sister, Paul Evelyn Allen; her niece, Arvellius Allen; her nephew, Paul Anthony Gibson; three aunts, Helen Campbell, Evelyn Dillard, and Julia Gibson; and a special friend, Kathy Linzy.
Tamara Allen made Chillicothe, Ohio her home and will be missed by a host of friends and surrogate family members.
In accordance with her wishes, cremation services will be performed. A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, June 6, 2020 at the Carver Community Center in Chillicothe, 165 W. 4th Street, Chillicothe, Ohio 45601.
