Suzanne Pigott

Suzanne Pigott Wilkin, of Lancaster, formerly of Chillicothe, was born September 12, 1960. After an extended illness, she passed away peacefully at Pickering Hospice House, Lancaster, OH on March 25, 2015. Suzanne graduated from Chillicothe High School and worked as a beautician in the Chillicothe and Lancaster areas. Living her life to the fullest to the very end, Suzanne married Dennis Wilkin on Valentine's Day 2015 at the same hospice where they cared for her the past few months. Suzanne was a fan of NASCAR and especially loved Jeff Gordon. She also enjoyed camping and traveling. Her beautiful green plants were a testament to her green thumb. Suzanne was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, and mother. She had many special friends who selflessly gave their own time to help her with health issues that she suffered these past years. They drove her to doctor appointments and gave much needed moral support for which the family is extremely grateful. She is preceded in death by her son Andrew Poole who died unexpectedly in 2012. Also preceding her in death was her beloved father, Clyde Pigott. Surviving are her mother, Mary Pigott; brothers and sisters, Barbara (Randy) Pigott Shipley, Bellbrook, OH, Carol (David) Pigott Walters, Mooresville, NC, Steven (Joann) Pigott, Choctaw, OK, and David (Jo Sager) Pigott, Chillicothe She was also close to her many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. Suzanne could sometimes be found with one in a chair getting a haircut after a Thanksgiving meal. Her memorial service will be held at Haller Funeral Home on March 29, 2015 at 6:00 P.M., Kermit Welty officiating. Friends may call 1/2 hour prior to the service at Haller's.
