Suzanne Janette Damron (Russell)

Suzanne, 69 years of age, went home to her creator on Monday, April 27, 2026 following an extended battle with cancer. She was born August 4th, 1956 in Chillicothe, Ohio the firstborn daughter of Charles and Mildred Russell.

Suzanne is preceded in death by both parents and a younger sister Charlene. She is survived by her sister Mary Bailey (Richard Bailey), her partner of many years Bill Graves, sons Jason McCray (Cyd Goodman-McCray) and Matthew McCray, stepdaughters Jessica Damron-Pierce, Amanda Damron and Sarah Damron (Larry Kelly). Suzanne is survived by one granddaughter Lily McCray, and four step-grandchildren Noah Damron, Nykiah Damron, Addison Johnson, Keanu Damron, Nevaeh Sikes, Joshua Damron and Isaiah Damron. Suzanne had numerous nieces and nephews including Carrie McGovern and Richie Bailey, she was also close with her great nieces Dakota and Alli as well as great nephews Michael and Max.

Suzanne worked many places in her life including BancOhio, Shell and MPW. She was well known and loved for a beautiful smile and an easy laugh readily placing others at ease around her. Suzanne loved to help others when she could sharing even when times were difficult. She was an avid crocheter, reader and lover of animals, especially cats.

Suzanne will be missed dearly by those who knew and loved her. A memorial service will be held for Suzanne on June 7th at 1:00PM at the Church of Christ in Bainbridge, Ohio.
