Susan Mccomis

Visitation : 6-8 Tuesday and 1 hour prior to the funeral Funeral : 2:00 pm Wednesday at Haller's Susan M. McComis, 42, of Chillicothe, died 1:33 pm, Friday, December 10, 2010, at the Adena Regional Medical Center, following an extended illness.   She was born June 8, 1968 in Chillicothe to Martin J. and Joanne L. Everhart Barlage, who survive.  On November 26, 1988 she married Carson E. McComis, who survives.  In addition to her husband and parents, survivors include her children, Carson Jr., Hannah and Jacob McComis; all of Chillicothe; two brothers, David and James Barlage; a sister, Brenda French; a grandmother, Hazel Everhart; her mother and father–in-law, Carson and Betty Jane McComis; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Cathy Gragg and Greg Algeo.   Mrs. McComis was very active in 4H growing up and more recently with the Farmers' Market.  She loved to cook and bake, selling her products at the Farmers' Market.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday at the Haller Funeral Home, Pastors Rich Cottrill and Dwight Gragg officiating.  Burial will follow in Huntington Township Cemetery.  Friends may call 6-8 Tuesday and one hour prior to the funeral at Haller's.  Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to help with expenses.
