Susan Matheny

Susan K. Copper Matheny, 65, of Chillicothe, died March 3, 2015, at the Ohio State University Medical Center. She was born August 6, 1949 in Chillicothe to the late Robert L. and Beverly A. Hice Copper. On April 1, 1993 she married William Matheny, who preceded her in death. Survivors include 4 children, Beverly (Charles) Countryman, Hilliard, OH, Charles (Leslie Smith) Mayse, Columbus, Stephanie (Roger) Mayse, Corpus Christi, TX, and Amanda (Jason) Stewart, Frankfort; 10 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; brothers, Timmie Lee (Frances) Copper and Steven (Jeannie) Copper; and a sister-in-law, Rubie Copper. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert Crosby and Larry Robert Copper; and a grandson, Scott A. Wildermuth. Susan was a homemaker and loved visiting with friends. Funeral services will be held 6:00 pm Saturday, at the Haller Funeral Home. Friends may call 2 hours prior to the service at Haller's.
