Sue Johnson

August 10, 1946 — August 17, 2023

Sue Ellen Johnson graced this world with her presence for 77 years. On August 17th after a short but valiant battle with cancer, Sue passed peacefully with her family by her side.

Sue is survived by her loving husband of 57 years Lloyd James Johnson, Jr. They met in 1964 (two weeks before Sue graduated from Chillicothe HS), started dating two weeks later, and were a duo from that day forward. When Lloyd retired in 2000 they became inseparable as they traveled extensively having many adventures and bringing joy and laughter with them wherever they went.

Sue is survived by her three children, Scott (Barbara) Johnson, Chad Johnson, and Jamie Johnson; her 5 grandchildren Steph Johnson, Christopher Johnson, Zach Johnson, Katie Robinson and Tori Robinson; and her loving sister Sarah Anderson. Sue is preceded in death by her mother, Wyoma Rae Smith; her father William Russell Gaul; and her brother George Gaul.

The family will receive friends as they gather to share stories, and joyful memories on September 9th from 1-4pm at the Tecumseh room at the Fairfield Inn & Suites 300 N Plaza Blvd, Chillicothe Ohio. An internment of her ashes will be a family gathering at a later time.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Sue's memory to the Cancer Patient Services, 1800 N Blanchard St #120, Findlay OH 45840 or Hancock Co Master Gardners 7868 Co Rd 140, Findlay, OH 45840 would be appreciated by the family.
