Sue Dell Harper, who lived her life for the hope of the Gospel, left this world for her eternal home December 31, 2022. She was a loving, generous, Spirit-filled lady who loyally and selflessly loved her family and others with the love of Jesus.
She was born on June 19, 1942 to the late Richard and Margaret Jones. She is survived by John Harper of Chillicothe who was her husband for 61 special years; by her children Jon (Linda) Harper of Greenfield; Cyndy (late Jerry) Driggs. She is also survived by the grandchildren that she loved dearly Janae (Fleming VI) Saunders of Fairfax, VA, Levi Driggs of Chillicothe, Zachary Harper of Greenfield, OH, Kaleb Harper of Greenfield, OH, and Taylor Harper of Fort Bragg, NC; and one great grandson, Fleming Easton Saunders VII.
She was a loving housewife and jewelry entrepreneur, who started her own jewelry business. She was also a natural teacher and storyteller who devoted many years to enthusiastically sharing the "Good News" of Jesus Christ with many children and adults through Child Evangelism Fellowship, Vacation Bible Schools, and Chillicothe Baptist Children's Church. She was a spiritual mentor to many and will be greatly missed by friends and family.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Friday at Chillicothe Baptist Church, Pastor Kevin Riddler officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort. Friends may call 1 hour prior to the service at the church on Friday. Memorial contributions may be made to Child Evangelism Fellowship, PO Box 6274, Chillicothe, OH 45601.
