Sue Anne Brown, 65, of Chillicothe, passed away early Wednesday morning, May 6, 2020, at her home, following a battle with cancer.
She was born August 17, 1954 in Chillicothe, Ohio, daughter of the late Robert and Betty Brown.
Surviving are her two daughters, Sharee (Marcus) Shaw, and Ashley (fiancé LeDelle Pace) Cottrill; her grandchildren, Mersadees Brown, Beyonce Gaus, Ereshia Netter, Imani Reed, Tamir Cottrill, Tamar Netter, and Kevin Gray, Jr.; a great-granddaughter, Naomi Harris; her siblings, Cheryl Brown, Caroline (Butch) Howard, Ricky Brown, Uvette (Gary) Barnett, Robert Tyler, Mike (Gabby) Brown, and Jessica (Mel) Brown; her sister friend, Brenda Beverly; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Jason D. Brown; four brothers, David Brown, Johnny Brown, Randy Brown, and Gary Davis; a niece, Kennedy Brown; and three great-nephews, Josh Howard, Gary Michael, and Tristan Tyler.
Sue enjoyed working outside in her yard, planting flowers in the garden, drinking coffee on her front porch, listening to music and collecting numerous paintings and knickknacks.
In accordance with her wishes, there will be no public calling hours or services. A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family at a later date.
