Steven Streitenberger

Steven Lee Streitenberger, 67, of Chillicothe, passed away Monday evening, November 7, 2022 at Westmoreland Place, following an extended illness.
He was born October 14, 1955 in Franklin County, son of Harold William and Patricia Lee (Shaulis) Streitenberger.
In addition to his father, he is survived by his sister, Lora L. Streitenberger-Purpero; his three kitties, Zippy, Goldie, and Bubba; as well as extended family and friends.
Steven was a graduate of Chillicothe High School, class of 1974. He received the Ohio University Achievement Scholarship, and went on to college for Electrical Engineering. Following college, he obtained a job with W.F.C.B. Radio Station when they went on air in 1978 as Chief Engineer. During his career, he also spent time as a Disc Jockey, worked in Production, Program Director, and was known by his on-air personality "Lee Stevens". In his free time, he enjoyed HAM Radio and loved reading.
In keeping with his wishes, cremation services will be performed. A private service for family will be held at a later date with burial in Grandview Cemetery.
