On June 8 th , 2021 at 8:09 pm, Steven Joe Patrick passed away at home in Chillicothe following a long and courageous battle with lung cancer at the age of 68.

Steven is survived by his wife Patricia A. (Quinn) Patrick; his children, Steven J.T.T.R. Patrick (Kat) of Marysville and Scott F. Patrick (Shelby) of Chillicothe; his siblings Rick Good, Sherrie Patrick, and David Patrick; his step-brothers Tim Good, Bill Good, and Terry Good; his brothers-in-law Tim (Shelly) Quinn, Tom (Peg) Quinn, and Bob (Jenny) Quinn; his grandchildren Steven J.T.T.R. Patrick Jr., Carter S. Patrick, Cora Mae Patrick, Natalie Q. Patrick, and Conor J. Patrick; and his aunts Nancy Britton and Barb Madru. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Josephus and Cecile Clark; his parents William A. Patrick and June E. (Clark) Good; his in-laws James and Mary Quinn ; and his brother-in-law James Quinn Jr.
Steve was born on April 21 st , 1953 in Fairbanks, Alaska. He graduated from Chillicothe High School in 1971 and went on to attend Columbus Technical Institute where he graduated with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He later retired from Glatfelter as a Senior Process Control Engineer and was known around the mill as "Slick."

Steve and Pat started dating on April 16, 1971 after Pat was dared to ask him out to a Sadie Hawkins dance. He said yes, they later married on November 9 th , 1974. They welcomed Steven in 1982 and Scott in 1984. Steve and Pat had 50 wonderful, funfilled years together.
Through his roles as Cubmaster of Pack 14 and Scoutmaster of Troop 7, Steve dedicated his time and efforts to seeing 13 young men earn the rank of Eagle Scout. During his adult scouting career, Steve earned the Rookie of the Year, District Award of Merit, and Silver Beaver Award. His vacation time was often spent camping out at Chief Logan Reservation. His leadership and guidance instilled a sense of civic duty, patriotism, and humor in each Scout he encountered.

Steve also proudly researched and connected the family to two Revolutionary War Patriots: Jacob Dreisbach and Andrew Leist. Steve served as President of the Arthur St. Clair Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution from 2016-2019. As Chapter President, Steve worked together with the local chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution to create Liberty Camp, which educates children about Revolutionary War era history. During that time, he received the Meritorious Service Award from the S.A.R.  Steve's passion for genealogy led to him volunteering for several years at the Ross County Genealogical Society. Steve was also a member of the Knights of Columbus as a 4 th degree knight.

The family would like to thank all the medical providers involved in Steve's care over the years especially Dr. John Gabis, the chemo nurses and staff at Adena, and his home healthcare nurses Heather and Stacey.
