Steven Morgan

Steven L. Morgan, 56, of Chillicothe, died unexpectedly Monday, May 11, 2015, at Adena Regional Medical Center. He was born December 22, 1958, in Ross County to the late Russell D. and Jane L. (Wagner) Morgan. On September 22, 1979, he married the former Jo-Ellen Wardell, who survives. Also surviving are their children and spouses: Aaron (Andrea) Morgan, of Chillicothe; Amanda (Toby) Salyer, Piketon; Michah (Dillon) Morgan, Chillicothe; Jonathon Morgan, Chillicothe; grandchildren: Steven Salyer; Oscar and Vivian Morgan; Connor Salyer; Gavin and Gunner Carroll; sister and brother-in-law Pam (Steve) Chaney; brother James Morgan, all of Chillicothe; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother Terry Morgan. Steve was a graduate of Chillicothe High School, Class of 1977. He worked as an operator at Glatfelter and was part of the ERT team. He was a retired Capt. with Scioto Twp. Fire Dept., a member and trustee of the Eagles Aerie 600, the Moose, F & AM, Scioto Lodge No. 6 and Past Master of Adelphi Lodge No. 527. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am Friday, May 15, at Haller Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 5-8pm Thursday at Haller Funeral Home, where a Masonic Funeral will be held at 7:00pm.
