Steven Charles McKee, 71, of Chillicothe died on Monday, May 26 after collapsing on a
walk with his dog, Buddy.
A 1971 graduate of Chillicothe High School, Steve was a long-time employee of RCA in Circleville, where he worked as a supervisor.
Steve was a Christian, whose faith in God bolstered him throughout his life.
Steve enjoyed Ohio State and Bengals football. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and golfer. Over the years, he enjoyed many trips to North Myrtle Beach, SC and hunting and fishing trips to Canada. He loved rock n roll, playing guitar and Golden Retrievers.
Steve was predeceased by his parents, Charles R. and Nancy L. McKee, as well as many aunts, uncles and several cousins.
Steve is survived by his sister Molly (Scott) Hunter, step grandson Dustin Roberts, step grandchildren Lance and Gretchen Roberts, as well as his best friend Dave Peters, good friends Nancy King, Steve Deffenbaugh and Peggy Hess and of course, his faithful companion Buddy, the Golden Retriever.
Haller Funeral Home and Crematory are handling arrangements. A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.
