Steven Heiss

Steven Karl Heiss, 62, of Chillicothe, passed away on Monday, July 18, 2022 at his home, following an extended illness.   He was born August 16, 1959 in Chillicothe, Ohio, son of the late Charles McCoy Heiss, and Phyllis J. (Oliver) Cutlip.   In addition to his mother and step-father, he is survived by his two sons, Haden Ethan Heiss, and Jacob Oliver Heiss; a brother and sister-in-law, Charles David (Lora) Heiss; a sister, Monique Blazer; his good friends Mark (Karen) Boydston, and Phil Cunningham; his beloved dog, Buddy; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.   Steve was a graduate of Chillicothe High School, class of 1977. During his high school career, he was part of the Champion Wrestling Team his senior year. Most recently, he was inducted into the Chillicothe High School Hall of Fame for his athletic accomplishments.   Per his wishes, there will be no services. Family and friends are invited to make donations to the Ross County Humane Society in his honor.
