Steven Jay Gallamore, 69, passed away Thursday evening on June 27, 2024 at UC Medical Center in Cincinnati.
He was born January 8,1955 in Morgantown, Ohio to the late Ocie and Harriet Gallamore
Steven was a hardworking family man. He spent many years working for Atlas Construction where he met many lifelong friends. He later retired as a truck driver.
Steven had a passion for car racing of any kind. A lot of his free time was spent at the racetrack or working on cars.
He treasured family time most of all, whether it be a family gathering or a home cooked meal made by his late wife Brenda. He would light up at the chance to see or talk to a family member or friend.
He especially loved his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. They were his pride and joy.
Steven spent his later years on the countryside in Bainbridge, Ohio alongside his partner, Crystal. He enjoyed nature, old western movies, watching car races, and talking with his grandchildren on a regular basis.
He was survived by his grandchildren Amber (Sean) Kesler, Corey Miller, Emily Gallamore, Gayla and Jason Knece, Caretaker and significant other Crystal Thomas, Sisters Kathy Jordan (Gallamore), Sheila McGarvey (Leeth), Brothers Charles Leeth, nephews, Anthony Smith, Sr., Jody Hall (Smith), Terry Layne Smith, Kenny Smith, other loving family members and friends, great-grandchildren Riley and Parker Kesler.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Brenda Gallamore, son Jason Gallamore, daughter Cindy Gallamore, sisters Betsy Smith (Gallamore), Flora May Hice (Leeth), brothers Terry Gallamore, Leslie Leeth, Harry (Abe) Leeth, best friend and brother in law Terry Smith.
A Memorial Gathering will be held at Haller Funeral Home, 1661 Western Avenue, Chillicothe, OH 45601 from 2 PM until time of Memorial Service at 3:30 PM on July 13, 2024. Greg Leeth will officiate the service.
