Stephen Welshimer

Stephen Lee Welshimer, 65, of Chillicothe, died 10:14 am, January 8, 2019, at Westmoreland Place Nursing Home, following an extended illness.
He was born April 21, 1953 in Chillicothe, OH to the late Carl and Virginia Sullivan Welshimer. Survivors include three children, Michelle (Scott) Tuten, Athens, Stephen (Cindy) Rogers, Marietta, and Heather Welshimer, Chillicothe; five grandchildren, Abby, Hayley, Joey, Aaron, and Taylor; a great-grandchild, Skyla; and three sisters, Loretta Kellough, Becky (Gary) Wilson, and Lois Dickson, all of Chillicothe. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Roger and Don (Vivian) Welshimer.
Mr. Welshimer was a Pittsburgh Steelers fan, a Chicago Cubs fan, and enjoyed rock and roll music.
Graveside services will be announced at a later date and held in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Rev. Tad Grover officiating. Calling hours will not be observed.
