Stephen Buck

Stephen Harold Buck, 65, of Chillicothe, passed away at home early Tuesday morning, October 10, 2017, with his loving wife by his side, following an extended illness. He was born on January 9, 1952, in Norwood, New York, to the late Sealy and Elsie (Heatherington) Buck. On July 29, 1972, Stephen married his high school sweetheart, Peggy E. Graves, who survives. Also surviving are their children, Brandon (Alexis) Buck, of Harrisburg, PA, and Chrisha Buck, of Chillicothe; his two grandsons, Lucas Buck, and Ryan Buck; six siblings, Bonnie (Joe) LaMando, of Nahant, Massachusetts, Lawrence (Roxanne) Buck, of Las Vegas, Nevada; Janice (Darwin) Harris, of Copenhagen, New York; Gretchen (Don) Rowland, of Watertown, New York; Ellen Ann (Ricky) Buck, of Massachusetts, and Peter (Andrea) Buck, of Atlanta, Georgia; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Sharon VanderLes. Stephen worked as manager with the Kmart and Sears Corporation, moving around the East Coast before settling in Chillicothe, and retiring after 44 years of employment. In his free time he loved to go fishing, and was an avid fan of the New York Yankees and the Pittsburgh Steelers. In accordance with his wishes, there will be no public calling hours or funeral services.
