Stephanie Roxann (Keel) Hicks, 62, of Chillicothe, went to be with the Lord at 2pm on June 22, 2015, in Heartland of Chillicothe, after losing her battle with cancer. She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church. She was born January 8, 1953, in Chillicothe, to Marjorie (Thomas) Keel and the late Gilbert D. Keel. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her only son, Glenn Montez Hicks, Jr. and his wife, Lila; granddaughters Jasmine, Ciera and Nia; one brother Joseph D. (Holly) Keel; 2 sisters Karen L. (Clark) Lee and Gabriel M. Scott and significant other Mike Brown;an aunt, Nancy M. Thomas; an uncle Walter E. (Rose) Thomas; nephews Joseph Keel, Jr., and Richard Johnson; nieces Joy (Scott) Finley, Jennifer (Skyland) Cousins, Adrian Scott, and Megan and Monique Lee; a host of great-nieces and great-nephews, relatives and close friends. The family would like to acknowledge one special friend, Linda Wilson. Stephanie got sick at a very early age and had to live outside the home for 39 years at Heartland of Chillicothe. Stephanie was loved by all and her smile could light up a room. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am Saturday, June 27, at the First Baptist Church, 65 W. Fourth St., Chillicothe, with Rev. Eric Carson officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 10-11am Saturday at the church.
