Stanford Jerry (Stan) Williamson, 70, of Chillicothe passed peacefully from his earthly life on September 6, 2024 while a resident of Embassy of Valley View, Frankfort with his loving wife at his side. His long battle with Lewy Body Dementia/Parkinson's is behind him as he now stands beside his precious Lord, strong, whole and of sound mind.
Stan was born in Ross Co. Ohio to the late Stewart Williamson and Madge (Slater) Williamson. He leaves behind three surviving siblings: Leona (Walter) Smith of Chillicothe, Thomas (Connie) Williamson of Logan, and Dorena Kunze (fiancé, Steve Starr) of Lancaster. and a sister-in-law, Sandy Sheets of Chillicothe, and many nieces and nephews, both local and nationwide.
In 1977, Stan married his one true love, Linda (Speakman) Williamson, who survives along with their children; Gracie Williamson of Chillicothe and Alan (Laura) Williamson of Louisville, KY. Also surviving is a lovely granddaughter, Justice Cochenour, of whom he was immensely proud.
Stan was a 1972 graduate of Unioto High School and 1974 graduate of Scioto Technical College, earning an associates degree in plastics engineering and applied sciences. He was employed by Circle Plastics Products in Circleville for 32 years, most of which were spent as Quality Assurance Manager. While there, he earned numerous certifications in quality control and achieved a vendor of the year award for the company. He was also employed as a Quality Engineer by YSK Corporation in Chillicothe for 12 years before retiring in 2020.
Stan was a humble man with a quiet spirit and an endearing sense of humor. He loved his Lord and Savior and was steadfast in his faith. He attended Faith Chapel Bible Church located at 12913 Pleasant Valley Road, Chillicothe where visitation for family and friends will be offered 11am - 1pm Tuesday, Sept. 10, with service to follow at 1pm with Pastor Thomas Kramer officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Haller Funeral Home & Crematory
