Sonja Frazier

Sonja Lee Frazier, 73, of Chillicothe, died 9:00pm, Monday, May 20, 2013, at Heartland of Chillicothe, following an extended illness. She was born of February 4, 1940 in Chillicothe to the late Eldon and Emma Cooper Shoemaker. On May 31, 1959 she married Joseph Ray Frazier, who survives. Also surviving are her two children, Lisa Wells, and Darin (Tami) Frazier, both of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Josey, Justin, Jordan, and Jackson Wells, and Morgan Frazier; a sister, Sue Popadych, of Chillicothe; two nieces, Heidi White, and Heather Popadych; a great niece, Emersen White; and special friends, Stuart Carson and Hansi French. Sonja was a former Miss Huntington, and Miss Ross County. She worked as a Librarian in the Chillicothe City School system, and loved her cats. Private services will be held at convenience of the family. At the request of the family, calling hours will not be observed.
