Sondra Sue Carter, 84, of Chillicothe, passed away early Friday morning, October 18, 2024, at the Vineyards in Frankfort, following an extended illness.
She was born February 24, 1940, in Chillicothe, daughter of the late Archie F. and Gladys O. (Duffy) Magill.
Surviving are her children, Wayne Finley, Kem (Tony) Magill, Scott (Joy) Finley, and Charlena (Brian) Woodfork; 7 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Donna Magill; as well as numerous other extended family members and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Glenn (Roberta) Magill, William "Bill" Magill, Mary (Marvin) Prince, and Ken (Betty) Magill.
Sondra was a graduate of Chillicothe High School. In her free time, she enjoyed attending services at the Original Glorious Church with her daughter and son-in-law. She loved playing Bunko, Bingo, and various other card games. She especially enjoyed traveling, going on cruises, and taking trips to the beach.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00pm on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at Greenlawn Cemetery, with Pastor David Welch officiating.
