Shirley Heilman

Shirley I. Heilman, 79, of Chillicothe, died at 2:25pm July 21, 2015, at Adena Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. She was born June 18, 1936, in Chillicothe, to the late Rev. Phillip and Blanche (Kellough) Beeler. Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law Julie (Bob) Hoffman, of Chillicothe; grandchildren: Nicole and Haley Hoffman; Noah and Jessi Merriman; great-granddaughter Addison; a son-in-law Vic Merriman; brothers Stephen and Norman Beeler; brothers-in-law Gary VanHooser and Hal Adcock; sister-in-law Charlotte Beeler; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her daughter Paula Merriman; brothers: Richard and Neil Beeler; sisters Phyllis VanHooser; Donna Adcock; and Jean Wells; and a brother-in-law Dick Wells. The family would like to give special thanks to the staff and caregivers at Signature Health Care and Adena Health System-ICU for their kindness, compassion and care. Graveside services will be held at 11:00am Friday in Greenlawn Cemetery with Chaplain Harry Mullins officiating.
