Shawn Tyrone Woodfork, 35, of Chillicothe, went Home to be with the Lord on Wednesday morning, September 15, 2021, at the Adena Regional Medical Center.
He was born December 17, 1985 in Chillicothe, son of the late Danny Lee Woodfork, and Linda Kay (Tyler) Woodfork.
In addition to his mother Linda, he is survived by his beloved fiancé, Tabitha Vest Woodfork; a daughter, Kylie Rian Baker; three siblings, Daniel Lee (Mamie Withrow) Tyler, Travis Lee Anthony Woodfork, and Shawna Dungey; his special aunt and uncle, Brenda (Jeffrey) Williams; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, David and Gayla Vest; a special niece, Dantasia Withrow; close special friends, ATL, Randy Ottabacher, Dominique Hall, Stanley Smith, Kevin Bayless and Sam; as well as a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, extended family members and friends. In addition to his father Danny, he was preceded in death by his step-father, Sylvester J. Beverly, Jr.; maternal grandparents, Julie May Tyler and Lewis Tyler; paternal grandparents, Ivy Hughes and Marvin Woodfork; his best friend, Eric Young; a cousin, Marvin "Jelly" Woodfork; sister-in-law, Emily Turner; and his aunt, Kathy Lyons.
Shawn, fondly known as "250" by his family and friends, was a graduate of Chillicothe High School, class of 2004. He was also known for being a Master Fisherman, his love of pull tabs, and playing the lottery. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan, and loved watching the Ohio State Buckeyes. He enjoyed traveling with his Fiancé Tabitha and her family all across the United States, taking fishing trips, and was an excellent freestyle rapper. But most of all, he loved spending time with his family and friends, especially the nieces and nephews. Giving them $2 bills during the holidays was always one of his favorite things to do.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00pm on Monday, September 20, 2021 at the Original Glorious Church of God with Minister Jemar Harris officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may join the family for a visitation from 11:00am until the time of his service at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in his honor to the Haller Funeral Home.
