Sharon Tatman

Sharon F. Tatman, 60, of Chillicothe, passed away peacefully at home, 4:30 am, August 7, 2008, following an extended illness. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday, in the Haller Funeral Home, with her brother, David G. Maughmer officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at Haller's. She was born July 28, 1948 in Ross Co. to the late Glen A. Maughmer and Glenda Curtis Morris, who survives. Also surviving are sons, John L. (Melissa) Sullivan and Michael D. (Pauline) Sullivan, both of Chillicothe; Lewis "Jiggs" McClain, her companion of 15 years, with whom she lived; a sister, Barbara (Craig) Ford, of Bainbridge; brother, David (Bonnie) Maughmer, of Chillicothe; nieces, Brandee Bales, Sarah Fowler, and Amanda Maughmer; nephews, Major Maughmer, Wayne E. Ford and Craig A. Ford; aunts; uncles; cousins; and numerous friends. She was preceded in death by a sister, Carma (Geno) Knapp; nieces, Lisa Bales, Brianna Yokum and Anna Marie Maughmer; and grandparents, Frances and Harry White, and Bessie and Major Maughmer. Sherry worked at the Paint Grill and considered many of the good friends she had met there as her second family. She was always ready for a good laugh, and never took herself too serious. She will be greatly missed.
