Sharon Strausbaugh

Sharon K. Strausbaugh, 66, of Richmond Dale, passed from this life to Heaven on April 10, 2015, following a brief illness. She was born November 30, 1948, in Ross County, to the late Troy "Buck" and Kay (Cremeans) Cash. On June 8, 1968, she married the love of her life, Elwood A. Strausbaugh, who survives. Also surviving are her son and daughter-in-law Mike (Laura) Strausbaugh, of Kingston; grandchildren Kannon and Kylan Strausbaugh; brothers and sisters-in-law Gary (Dale) Cash; Randy (Becky) Cash; brothers-in-law Tom, Dan (Marilyn), and Ken (Bobbie) Strausbaugh; sister-in-law Jennifer (Bob) Bush; many nieces, nephews and a special cousin Shirley Hynes. She was preceded in death by her mother-in-law and father-in-law Violet and Wayne Strausbaugh. Sharon was a graduated of Southeastern High School, Class of 1967. She then earned her bachelor's degree in psychology from Ohio University-Chillicothe. Sharon worked for Ross Co. Bank and later as a substitute teacher in Ross County, primarily in the Paint Valley School District. She enjoyed attending Richmond Dale Church communities and loved to watch her grandchildren play sports, loved to travel and spend time with friends and family. Funeral services will be held at 10:00am Tuesday, April 14, at the Haller Funeral Home with Pastor Chris Wiseman officiating. Burial will follow in Little Mound Cemetery, Richmond Dale. Friends may call Monday from 2-4 and 6-8pm at Haller Funeral Home.
