Sharon F. Shaw, of Chillicothe, passed away peacefully at 4:20pm June 21, 2025, at her residence following an extended illness.
She was born February 15, 1944, in Pike Co., to the late Frank and Myrtle (George) Emrich. On February 25, 1966, she married her soulmate and love of her life Robert A. "Bobby" Shaw.
Sharon is survived by her daughter Robin Shaw, of Chillicothe; grandsons Joe (Heather) Speakman, of Chillicothe; Ryan (Sara) Speakman, of Kingston; and great grandkids: Joselyn, Presley, Adilyn, Kai, Gabriel and Jessup. She was predeceased by her parents; her husband Robert A. "Bobby Shaw; a stillborn great-grandchild; a great-grandchild Eloise Speakman; sister, Minnie Flowers; half-sisters, Darlene Jenkins, Jerry Grundvig; a brother-in-law Carl C. Shaw, Jr.; and a sister-in-law and brother-in-law Helen (Glenn) Callam.
Sharon was cosmetologist until she was married and then she transitioned into a homemaker, Volunteer at Ross County Medical (now known as Adena Medical Center), worked with a group to bring Life Alert to Ross County, a member of the PTA, and was a chaperone on school trips.
She loved spending time with her grandkids, great grandkids who were the center of her world. She enjoyed vacations with Bobby Shaw, and she loved Karaoke.
The family would like to give special thanks to National Church Residences Hospice.
At her request, cremation services will be held under the direction of Haller Funeral Home & Crematory. The family is planning a memorial service at a later date.
