Shantel Thompson

Shantel M. (Speas) Thompson, 39, died unexpectedly, September 10, 2014, at her home. She was born January 19, 1975, in Chillicothe, to Thomas W. and Linda S. (Reese) Speas. On January 5, 1994, she married Adrian Thompson, who preceded her in death February 1, 2010. Surviving are her father, Thomas Speas, Chillicothe; her children: Ashley, Vivian and Gregory "Benny" Thompson, all of Chillicothe; and many aunts and uncles. She was predeceased by her mother; and her sister Jesse Borden. Shantel was a graduate of Huntington High School (PRJVS). She had worked as a nurse's aide and was a wonderful artist. She served in the US Navy. A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. Military graveside services will be scheduled in Twin Township Cemetery following cremation under the direction of Haller Funeral Home.
