Scott Robert Hardesty, 42, of Chillicothe, died tragically early Saturday morning, October 14, 2017, as the result of injuries sustained in a house fire. He was born on February 12, 1975, in Chillicothe, Ohio to the late Larry Edwin, Sr., and Sharon Ann (Bonner) Hardesty. Surviving is his daughter, Cherish Hardesty, of Circleville; his granddaughter, Sydnee Staffan; three brothers, Larry (Cheryl) Hardesty, of Circleville, Eric Hardesty, of Chillicothe, and Greg Hardesty, of Richmond, VA; three sisters, Charlene Larson, of Gainesville, FL, Katrina Hardesty, of Michigan, and Tess Hardesty, of Chillicothe; a special friend, Dalton Short; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles. In addition to his parents, Scott was preceded in death by his brother, Mica Hardesty. Scott was a kind and generous soul who was always willing to help those in need. Despite the difficulties he endured with his health over the last six years, he always kept a fun sense of humor and lived his life to the fullest. In his free time, he enjoyed listening to hard rock music, and watching the Cleveland Browns. In accordance with his wishes, there will be no public calling hours or services.
