Sarah Cunningham

Sarah Louise Cunningham, 82, of Chillicothe, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 25, 2017. She was born June 8, 1934, in Chillicothe, OH, to the late Ross and Alameda (Lett) Mickey.  On October 30, 1953, she married Donald L. Cunningham, who preceded her in death February 6, 2006. Sarah is survived by daughters Sara L. "Sally" Cunningham; Michele L. "Mickey" Cunningham; son and daughter-in-law Donald L. (Marlene) Cunningham II; grandsons Adrian M. (Amanda) Cunningham, Nicolàs R. Cunningham, and Aiden A. Cunningham; granddaughter, Reina S. Cunningham and great-granddaughter Alysia M. Cunningham, all of Chillicothe; brother and sister-in-law, Roscoe and Peggy Mickey; sister and best friend, Julia Brown; sisters-in-law Bette Ann Phillips, of Beltsville, MD and Nancy Peterson of London, OH; brother-in-law Everett (Janet) Cunningham, Jr., New Mexico; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father and mother, sisters Edna (Mickey) Walker and Ilene (Mickey) Brown; brothers Bertrand, Earl, Elvin, and Vernon Mickey. Sarah was a member of Quinn Chapel A.M.E. Church for more than 35 years. She retired from the General Electric Lamp Plant in Circleville, OH after 28 years of service. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon, Saturday April 29, 2017 at the Quinn Chapel A.M.E. Church, 181 W. Main St., Chillicothe, Ohio with Rev. Victor L. Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 10 AM to 12:00 noon at Quinn Chapel A.M.E. Church.
