Sandra Yingling

Sandra L. Yingling, 81, of Chillicothe, died 2:15 pm, February 6, 2018, at Adena Regional Medical Center, following an extended illness.     She was born June 26, 1936 in Ross County to the late Perry F. and Odessa M. Van Hooser. She is survived by her loving and dedicated husband of 31 years, Ralph E. Yingling. The family will be forever grateful for his steadfast love and care during her illness. Also surviving are her children, Michael (Jan Knisley) Norman of Hillsboro; Marsha McGovern of Troy; Mark Norman of Wellington, Florida; Mary (Laddie) Williams of Chillicothe; a stepson, Rob Shaw of Columbus; six grandchildren, Carolyn Barnhart, Sarah (Chad) Winland, Michael (Leslie) Norman II, Lauren (Cole) Moffatt, Zachary Williams and Nicholas McGovern; seven great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren; a special niece Kerry (James) Mankin and nephews Greg (Bobbie) Van Hooser, Randy (Mary) Van Hooser and Eric VanHooser. She was preceded in death by a son, Steven Norman; brothers Perry VanHooser II and Gary VanHooser.     Sandra was a proud graduate of Centralia High School, Class of 1954. She loved her family, especially her precious grandchildren. The family would like to thank the ICU staff at Adena Regional Medical Center for their loving care and compassion.   Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Tuesday at Calvary Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Kingston. Friends may call 11:00 am -1:00 pm Tuesday at the church.
