Sandra Gay McCafferty Reinhard passed peacefully at Riverside Hospital on July 9, 2021 at approximately 10:15pm surrounded by her family.
She was born January 14, 1944 to Ruth (Lane) McCafferty and Claude Russell McCafferty at Berger Hospital in Circleville, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her mother Ruth, father Claude, sister Margene (Schoenhoff), and brother Mike McCafferty. She is survived by her husband Dennis Reinhard, her children, David Taaron (Diane Duvall), Kendal (David) Horn, and Chad Clingenpeel; stepson, Jason (Karlena) Reinhard; grandchildren, Tyler and Jeremy Horn, and Brandon Wood; special sister-in-law, Marsha McCafferty; and several cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Sandra predominantly lived in the Pickaway-Ross County area her entire life. She will be remembered for her love of family, friends, animals, her charitable acts, and her love of the Ohio State Buckeyes.
In tribute to her love of animals, any donations can be made to the Ross County Humane Society. The family would like to send a special thank you to the staff of both Adena and Riverside Hospitals for their care and efforts given.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at the Haller Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens, Circleville. Friends may join the family for a visitation on Tuesday evening from 5:00pm-8:00pm at the funeral home.
