Sandra Cousins

Sandra J. "Sandy" Cousins, 65, died at 8:55pm July 3, 2016, at Adena Regional Medical Center following a brief illness. She was born June 20, 1951, in Cleveland, OH to the late David, Jr. and Pauline L. (Thomas) Huffman. On April 22, 1989, she married Victor M. Cousins, who survives. Also surviving are her children: Lekeitha Beverly, of Westerville, Brandi (Comar) Smith, of Broken Arrow, OK, Randall (Jennifer) Beverly, of Chillicothe; grandchildren: Ashton, Jayden and Christian Beverly, and Josiah, Camiah and Hezekiah Smith; a half-sister Vera Richardson, of Cleveland; and a special sister-in-law Kathy (Chuck) Sims, of Chillicothe. She was predeceased by her parents. Sandy was a member of New Life Christian Church where she was a member of the Praise Team. She worked for 28 years as a youth leader and teacher's aide for Ross Pike ESD, formerly Roweton, and as a substitute teacher. Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Saturday, July 9, at New Life Christian Church, 1033 Dayton St., with Pastor Skip Cousins officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call Saturday from 11am until 1pm at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Haller Funeral Home & Crematory.
