Sandra S. Barker, 82, of Richmond Dale, passed away on Saturday afternoon, December 25, 2021 following an extended illness.
She was born February 16, 1939, in Chillicothe, Ohio, daughter of the late Everett and Violet Rippeth. On April 25, 1970, she married Charles E. Barker, and together they shared over 41 years of marriage before his passing on July 27, 2011.
Surviving is her daughter, Betra (Bob) Johnson; grandson, Shayne A. Self; three sisters, Marcia (Jerry) Cox, Connie Jo Huhman, and Shirley Schrader; a brother, Alan Rippeth; special friends, Matt and Rick Stanley; her beloved dog, Jo-Jo; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and close friends.
Sandra loved taking her daily trips down to the Crispie Creme in Chillicothe before her illness prevented her.
In accordance with her wishes, there will be no public calling hours or funeral services.
