Ruth W. Dillon, 93, of Chillicothe, died at 5:45pm Sunday, March 23, 2014, at Chillicothe Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born September 4, 1920, in Chillicothe to the late Charles, Sr. and Helen H. (Hickman) Williamson.
Ruth worked in administrative services with a number of businesses over her career. She was quite active with the Business & Professional Women Group in Columbus. Ruth had an engaging and outgoing personality, as demonstrated with her active involvement with Grandparents Living Theatre. In addition, her friends and family were always entertained by her jokes and stories. She was a longtime member of Trinity United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers Charles Williamson, Jr. and Clark Williamson. Surviving are her nephews Paul, Mark and Scott Williamson; and nieces Beth Olson and Wendy Bernadino.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00am Friday, March 28, at Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort, with Rev. Kurt King officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Haller Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church, 24 S. Mulberry St., Chillicothe, OH 45601.
