Ruth Beekman

Ruth L. Beekman, 57, of Chillicothe, died at 7:21pm March 13, 2018, at Adena Regional Medical Center following a brief illness.   She was born July 21, 1960, in Portsmouth, OH to the late Reba L. (Benson) Roberts.   She is survived by her daughter Sabrina Beekman, Chillicothe; her longtime boyfriend Mark Easterday; brothers: Brent, Shane (Teresa) and Kenny (Tammy) Roberts; a sister Katrina (Randy) Matthews; and nieces and nephews: Natisha (Travis) Thornton, Christina (Shawn) Kirsch, Randy Matthews, Jr., and Brittany Roberts. She was predeceased by her mother, her step-father Cleland Roberts, and a brother Doug Roberts.   Ruth was a devoted Christian and enjoyed reading her bible. As a mother, she enjoyed caring for her daughter, spending time with family, cooking and traveling to new places.   A Memorial Service in her honor will be held at 7pm Monday, March 19, at Real Joy Community Fellowship, 56 Maple Lane, Chillicothe, OH. Friends may call 1 hour prior to the service at the church. Cremation services are under the direction of Haller Funeral Home & Crematory.
