Ruby Hunt

Ruby J. Hunt, 76, of Wellston, died December 27, 2022, at her residence.

She was born March 31, 1946 in Ross Co. to the late Lark and Helen Miller Scott.  On September 4, 1964 she married John F. Hunt, who survives.  Also surviving are her two daughters, Athena (Brad) Koehler, of Newark and Diana (Ben) Caterer, of Canal Winchester; two grandchildren, Adam Koehler and Greyson Caterer; a sister, Ruth Brown, of Chillicothe; and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by four siblings, Sue Osborn, Lark Scott, Jr., Loki Eblin and Irene Scott.  Mrs. Hunt was a homemaker and beloved wife, mother and grandmother.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Saturday at the Haller Funeral Home & Crematory.  Burial will follow in Twin Twp. Cemetery.  Friends may call 11:00-1:00 Saturday at Haller's.
