Roselene Lucille Malott, 84, of Chillicothe, passed away Wednesday morning, June 15, 2022 at her home, following an extended illness.
She was born December 17, 1937, in Vinton County, Ohio, daughter of the late Joseph and Zella (Peck) Stewart. On December 21, 1956, she married the love of her life, Donald Zane Malott, who preceded her in death on October 19, 2019.
Surviving are her three beloved children, Kevin (Darlene Good) Malott, Rhonda (Robert) Hicks, and Pamela (Blaine) Schobelock; her grandchildren, Chad, Amanda, Amber, and Blaine, Jr.; great-grandchildren, Hannah, Aaron, Henry, Alayleigh, Lillian, Kayden, Holly, Blaine III, Tanner, Keegan, Alexis, Jada, and Makayla; a sister, Judy (Theodore) Rogers; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Charles, Bud, Burman, Gerald, Edie, Ovid, Garnett, and Alice.
Roselene worked for Kmart for many years before retiring in 2000. In her free time, she enjoyed working outside in her flower garden, and spending time sitting on her deck.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00pm on Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at the Haller Funeral Home with Pastor Carl Radcliff officiating. Burial will follow in Londonderry Cemetery. Friends may join the family for a visitation from 11:00am until the time of the service.
