Rose Mary Graves

Rose Mary (Moreland) Graves, 93, passed away May 16, 2026 at Brookdale Assisted Living, Grove City, where she resided the last nine months. Rosie, as she was known by, was born to Clark and Thelma Moreland on November 28, 1932 in Ironton, Ohio. She attended Chillicothe High School. She went on to marry Estel Graves, and together they shared forty four years of marriage before his passing in 1994.

Rosie is survived by her four children, Myra Balance, of Groveport, Karen (Michael) Dreeling, of Grove City, Carla Graves, also of Grove City, and Gary Graves, of Chillicothe; granddaughters, Jenny Comstock and Cara Swinehart, of Grove City; great-grandchildren, Braylon, Bailey and Ramon, of Grove City; and her sister, Sandy Patronsky, of Grove City. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Mickey Moreland; and her sister and brother-in-law, Joan and Ed Hart.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to the caring staff at Brookdale Assisted Living and the wonderful nurses at Luminary Hospice.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00pm on Friday, May 22, 2026 at the Haller Funeral Home with Rev. Barry Bennett officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may join the family for visitation from 10:00am until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Rosie’s honor to Luminary Hospice Services.
