Rosalind Rapp

Rosalind "Roz" Marie Rapp, 74, of Chillicothe, passed away Wednesday, December 10, 2008, at home. Funeral services will be held 10:00 am, December 19, 2008 in Calvary Lutheran Church. Graveside services will be held December 23, 2008 in Mount Hope Cemetery, Independence, KS. Calling hours will not be observed. Mrs. Rapp was born July 25, 1934 in Independence, KS to Albert A. and Mabel M. Robertson Elliott Jr. On June 4, 1958 she married John A. Rapp, who preceded her in death. Survivors include a son, John A. (Lynn) Rapp, of Chillicothe; granddaughter, Candace Crow, of Port St. Lucie, Fl; and grandson, Corie Rapp, of Las Vegas, NV. She was preceded in death by a stillborn infant daughter, Julie Rapp, and her husband. Mrs. Rapp retired from the Coffeyville Regional Medical Center as an RN in 1999, but continued working part time until 2004.
