Ronald O. "Butch" Woods Ronald O. "Butch" Woods, 67, of Chillicothe, died 4:12 pm, Thursday, March 20, 2008, in his home, following an extended illness. Funeral services will be held 10:00 am Tuesday, March 25, 2008, in the Haller Funeral Home, Pastor Steve Alexander officiating. Military graveside services, conducted by the Ross Co. Veterans Honor Guard, will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call 5-8 pm Monday at Haller's. He was born May 26, 1940 in Ross Co. to Charles and Melva Hardesty Woods. On October 10, 1981 he married Joan A. Rivard, who survives. Also surviving is his daughter, Terri L. (Stewart) Morris, of Lacey, WA; a son, Gary W. Woods, of Vancoover, BC; two grandchildren, Stephanie and Steven Baker, of Toronto, Canada; three sisters, Joycelyn Gallagher, Sharon (Ronald) Boggs, and Peggy Puckett; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son, Ronald F. "Butch" Woods; three brothers, Walter, Robert, and Charles Woods; a sister, Barbara Michaels; and his step-father, Fred Garrett. Butch served his country in the United States Marines. He retired as a truck driver from Basic Construction Materials in 2005. Most recently he volunteered at the Adena Mansion as a groundskeeper. He was a member of the Eagles Aerie 600, AMVETS Post 4, American Legion Post 757, VFW Post 108 and the Elks Lodge 52.
