Ronald Jeffcott

Ronald Edward Jeffcott, PhD., 62, of Chillicothe, died 10:01 pm, February 26, 2015, following an extended illness. He was born May 26, 1952 in Cincinnati, OH to the late Joseph F. and Agnes M. Lindauer Jeffcott. On August 23, 1975 he married the former Anne Louise Beach, who survives. Also surviving are his two sons, John C. Jeffcott, of Baltimore, MD and Joseph P. Jeffcott, of Kensington, MD; brothers, Michael and Robert Jeffcott; sisters, Diana (Tom) Greatorex and Kathy Jeffcott; sisters-in-law, Patricia Jeffcott, Nancy (Gary) Toussant, Barbara (Mike) Garverick, Sandra (Dan) Merriam; brothers-in-law, Patrick (Coby) Beach, Nathan (Constance) Beach, and Jon (Yvette) Beach; his mother and father-in-law, Richard and Joan Beach. He was preceded in death by an infant daughter; a brother, Gary Jeffcott; a sister-in-law, Deanna Jeffcott; and a special brother-in-law, Chris Beach. Ron retired as a Lieutenant Colonel from US Air Force, and served during the Gulf War. He was a clinical psychologist with the Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Chillicothe. He was a graduate of the University of Cincinnati, received his Master's degree from the University of Dayton, and his Doctorate from Vanderbilt University. Ron was a member of the AMVETS Post 4, and an antique car and motorcycle enthusiast. He was known for his great sense of humor. A celebration of his life and military honors, conducted by the US Air Force will be held 5:00 pm Monday, at the Haller Funeral Home. Friends may call 3-5 pm Monday at Haller's.
