David Diehl, 83, of Chillicothe, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday evening, February 23, 2023 at his home, following an extended illness.
He was born January 14, 1940, in Chillicothe, Ohio, son of the late Orval Eugene and Luella Mae (Dawkins) Diehl.
Surviving is his beloved daughter, Cindy Diehl; his two grandchildren, Jesse David Diehl, and Gracie Marie Diehl; his two brothers, Tim (Bev) Diehl, and Joe (Kay) Diehl; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and close friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Susan D. (Peters) Diehl.
A celebration of life service for family and friends will be held at 1:00pm on Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at the Haller Funeral Home, with Pastor Roger Webb officiating. Burial will take place in Georgiana, Alabama next to his late wife at a future date.
